Microblading with Kinley.

What is Microblading? Microblading uses a micropigmentation process to deposit ink on the top layer of dermis, resulting in a semi-permanent tattoo that lasts 1-3 years. Using a manual tool, an artist with a trained eye for facial symmetry and aesthetics creates individual hairline “brushstrokes” that mimic the appearance of real brow hairs.

How does it work? This is a completely tailored method to each individual client. Whether you need to fill in a small area or want a brand new set of brows – Kinley will work with you to create a shape using your natural facial architecture. There is NO one size fits all with this technique – which is why it is absolutely paramount that you have an artist with a trained eye only to do this procedure.

KINLEY is an artist and designer based in Los Angeles, CA. She was born into an extremely creative family – her grandfather and mentor, David Willardson, is one of the original pioneers of using airbrush as a medium in the 70’s. As young as 14, he introduced Kinley into the world Fine Art, developing her eye for detail and composition. By 16, she was recruited to her first gallery in Japan and since then has designed custom wallpaper and paintings for designers such as Kelly Wearstler, Rachel Ashwell, and Ron Herman. In 2010, her aunt started teaching the art of Microblading and thought maybe Kinley would be interested in learning the technique since it it so closely tied to portraiture and drawing. Kinley said “Absolutely, yes!” It wasn’t long before she fell deep in love with Microblading and… the rest is history.
